LinkAF

Money transfer to Africa

Send money to your family in West Africa through a LinkAF partner. Your recipient gets a secure pickup code by WhatsApp and collects the amount in cash at a kiosk — with no bank account.

How a transfer works

1

Hand over the amount

At a LinkAF partner, give the recipient details and the amount. The exchange rate is shown to you before you confirm.

2

The code arrives by WhatsApp

Your recipient receives a single-use pickup code, valid for 96 hours by default.

3

Collection at the kiosk

They present the code and an ID in the name you gave, and leave with the cash.

Currencies and security

Transfers are supported in euro, Guinean franc, CFA franc (West and Central Africa), Congolese franc, naira and cedi. Every payout requires the single-use code and an identity check at the counter, and all operations are traceable.

Where your family can collect

Payout points depend on the partner you choose. Here is the page for your country:

Is a bank account needed?

No, neither for you nor your recipient. Payout is in cash at the partner kiosk, against the code and an ID.

How long is the code valid?

96 hours by default, that is four days. After that, ask your partner to extend validity or redo the transaction.

Who sets the exchange rate?

The partner operator where you make the transfer. The rate applied is shown to you before confirmation — no surprises afterwards.
